Brush Hogging
Brush Hogging & Overgrowth Removal in the Piedmont Triad
Reclaim fields, pastures and back lots that have gone wild. Our brush hogging service cuts back tall grass, briars, saplings and heavy brush so your property is manageable again.
Serving Greensboro, High Point, Winston-Salem & the NC Piedmont Triad
Cut Back Heavy Growth, Fast
Brush hogging is the workhorse of pasture and field maintenance. When grass, briars and saplings have taken over a field, an old homestead or a wooded edge, a brush hog cuts everything down to a manageable height in a fraction of the time it would take a mower or hand crew.
KNS LandWorx brush hogs pastures, hay fields, driveways, easements and rural acreage across Greensboro, Winston-Salem, High Point and the surrounding Piedmont Triad, whether it's a one-time reclaim or seasonal upkeep.
What You Get With KNS LandWorx

Why Regular Brush Hogging Matters
In the Piedmont Triad, an untouched field can turn into a young thicket in just two or three growing seasons. Brush hogging on a regular schedule keeps saplings from ever becoming trees and preserves the open character of a field or pasture.
For properties that have already gone too far, brush hogging is usually the first step. Once the field is knocked down, we can follow up with mulching, grading or seeding to bring the ground back to productive use.

Frequently Asked Questions
How big of brush can you hog?
Standard brush hog work handles grass, briars and saplings up to about 1 to 2 inches. Anything larger, 3 to 6 inches or more, is faster and cleaner with our forestry mulcher.
How often should I brush hog a field?
Once a year is enough to keep an open field from turning into woods. Twice a year (spring and late summer) keeps pastures cleaner.
Can you brush hog wet or steep ground?
Often yes. We look at slope, ground conditions and access during the estimate to make sure we can do it safely.
How much does brush hogging cost?
Pricing depends on acreage, growth density and terrain. We quote by acre or by hour after a quick site look so the number matches the reality.
Do I need to be home during the work?
Not usually. Once we've walked the property with you and marked keeper areas, we can complete most jobs on our own.
Where do you offer brush hogging?
Across the NC Piedmont Triad, including Greensboro, High Point, Winston-Salem, Summerfield, Oak Ridge, Kernersville, Burlington, Asheboro, Thomasville and Reidsville.
