Mulching Services in the NC Piedmont Triad
One machine, one pass, one clean result. Grind brush, saplings and invasives into mulch that protects your soil and stays out of the landfill.
Serving Greensboro, High Point, Winston-Salem & the NC Piedmont Triad
Efficient Vegetation Control That Feeds the Ground
Traditional clearing means cutting, piling, hauling and burning. Forestry mulching skips most of that. A mulching head grinds standing brush and small trees into a layer of natural mulch right where they stood, in a single pass.
The result is quieter on the land, easier on your neighbors and better for the soil. It works for pasture reclamation, trail cutting, fence-line maintenance, view clearing and long-term brush control.
What You Get With KNS LandWorx

Why Mulching Is a Smart Fit for Piedmont Properties
NC Piedmont properties are heavy on brush, briars, sweet gums and privet. Cutting and burning them turns into a weekend project that never ends. Mulching handles it in hours instead of days and leaves the ground ready to use.
The mulch layer also protects your clay soil from wash-out, gives grass and desirable species room to come back, and keeps invasive species from reclaiming the ground as quickly.
Our Process
A straightforward path from overgrown or unusable land to a finished job you can be proud of.
- 1
Site Assessment
We look at density, terrain, slope and what you want the finished area to look like, then confirm mulching is the right tool for the job.
- 2
Boundary and Buffer Setup
We flag anything to save, mark property lines and set safe working buffers around homes, fences, ponds and outbuildings.
- 3
Mulch in Place
The mulching head grinds brush, vines and small trees into mulch on the ground, in controlled passes so nothing gets missed or over-torn.
- 4
Finish Walk
We walk the site with you, address any spot cleanup and talk through a maintenance rhythm so the ground stays open.

Frequently Asked Questions
What size trees can you mulch?
Our equipment comfortably handles brush, saplings and trees up to roughly 6 to 8 inches in diameter. Larger trees are handled by cutting or paired with our tree removal service.
Will the mulch layer kill my grass?
No. A thin, even mulch layer actually protects soil and helps desirable grass come back. On pasture reclamation jobs we can control mulch depth to fit your goals.
How long before the brush comes back?
That depends on species and site. Most clients see a real difference for one to three growing seasons. Occasional maintenance mulching keeps ground open indefinitely.
Does mulching cause erosion?
It is one of the lowest-impact ways to open ground. Because the mulch stays on site as a protective layer, erosion risk is much lower than traditional clear and haul.
Where do you provide mulching services?
We mulch across the NC Piedmont Triad including Greensboro, High Point, Winston-Salem, Kernersville, Jamestown, Oak Ridge, Summerfield, Stokesdale, Colfax, Burlington, Lexington, Thomasville, Reidsville and Asheboro.
